Experience a true Northern Ontario getaway at our historic Bear Camp along the Little White River. Set up as a traditional hunt camp, this rustic but functional cabin sleeps up to 8 in single bunk-style beds. Enjoy an outdoor privy, seasonal running water for dishes and an outdoor shower, and nature right outside your door. Please note: no vehicle road access from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset. No cellphone service or WIFI!
Important Things to Know
Bear Camp is a true rustic Northern Ontario hunt camp surrounded by wilderness. Guests should come prepared for an off-grid experience.
The camp is accessed by gravel road, and we recommend a small SUV or larger vehicle. No vehicle access during winter months - snowmobile access only. No vehicle road access from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset year round; however, ATV access is available 24/7 via bush road.
There is no electricity and no cell phone service at the camp. A propane cooking stove is provided, along with some basic cookware and dishes. There is no refrigerator, so guests should bring a cooler and ice, especially for longer stays.
Bedding, pillows, towels and kitchen linens are not provided. Please bring everything you will need for your stay.
The camp has an outdoor privy and seasonal running water during warmer months for washing dishes and using the outdoor shower.
Because this is a rustic cabin in the middle of the Northern Ontario wilderness, you may encounter bugs, mice and other creatures that naturally call the area home. We do our best to keep the camp clean and comfortable, but wildlife and insects are part of the authentic camp experience.

Guests must make arrangements with the Airbnb host prior to arrival to pick up the gate/camp keys. Please contact us in advance to coordinate your arrival and key pickup.
Keys must be returned as arranged at the end of your stay. A $300 replacement fee will apply for keys that are lost or not returned.
We recommend confirming your arrival plans before heading to camp, as there is no cell phone service at the property.
